1. Information we collect
- Account information such as name, email, phone number, city, province and business details.
- Identity and verification information when required for protected actions.
- Equipment, booking, transportation, support and marketplace activity.
- Payment-related identifiers and status from payment processors. IronShare Hub does not intend to store raw card numbers or security codes.
- Device, security, audit and usage information reasonably needed to protect and operate the service.
2. Why we use information
- Create and secure accounts and distinguish renter, owner and carrier permissions.
- Operate listings, bookings, payments, transportation, messaging, support and dispute workflows.
- Verify identity, businesses, equipment-related trust information and carrier eligibility.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access and unsafe activity.
- Meet legal, accounting, tax, regulatory and record-retention obligations.
3. Sharing and service providers
IronShare Hub may share information with service providers that support payments, hosting, mapping, communications, identity verification, analytics, security and customer support, only as reasonably necessary for those services.
Transaction participants may receive information needed to complete a booking or transportation job. Private pickup addresses and other sensitive operational details should only be revealed when the workflow requires them.
4. Cross-border processing
Some service providers may process or store information outside Alberta or Canada. Where required, IronShare Hub will provide information about relevant service-provider practices and a contact for privacy questions.
5. Security
IronShare Hub uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or destruction. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Retention
Information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, active transactions, security, disputes, accounting and legal obligations. Retention periods should be finalized before public launch.
7. Access and correction
You may request access to or correction of personal information held by IronShare Hub, subject to applicable legal exceptions. IronShare Hub will provide a privacy contact before public launch.
8. Consent and updates
Where consent is required, IronShare Hub will seek consent appropriate to the information and purpose. A new Privacy Policy version may require a new acceptance before continued use of protected features.
