1. Information IronShare collects

Depending on how you use IronShare, we may collect account information such as your name, email address, phone number, city, province, account type, and information about how you intend to use the marketplace.

Individual accounts may provide date of birth information. Business accounts may provide business names, business type, website, and primary-contact information.

2. Equipment and booking information

We may collect equipment listing information, photos, availability, pricing, booking dates, booking status, pickup details, transportation information, and transaction-related records.

3. Location information

IronShare may process equipment-location information to support search, distance calculations, transportation estimates, and pickup coordination.

Public marketplace listings are designed to use approximate location information rather than publicly exposing an equipment owner's exact pickup location. Exact pickup details may be provided only to authorized participants when needed for an eligible booking or transportation workflow.

4. Messages and uploaded files

If you use IronShare messaging or upload booking-related files, those records may be stored so authorized booking participants can communicate and coordinate a transaction.

5. Payments

Payment and payout services may be provided by third-party payment processors. IronShare may receive transaction status, account-readiness, payout-readiness, and other information required to operate marketplace payments.

IronShare does not intend to directly store complete payment card numbers.

6. Verification information

IronShare may use information needed for identity, business, insurance, phone, email, or payout verification. Merely entering information does not mean that the information has been independently verified.

7. How information is used

We may use information to provide and secure accounts, operate listings and bookings, calculate transportation options, process payments, provide messaging and status updates, investigate misuse, improve IronShare, and comply with legal obligations.

8. When information may be shared

Information may be shared with other transaction participants when reasonably necessary to complete a rental or transportation service. We may also use service providers for infrastructure, authentication, payments, mapping, email, hosting, analytics, security, and other platform operations.

IronShare does not intend to make sensitive account information such as date of birth publicly visible on marketplace profiles or equipment listings.

9. Security

IronShare uses technical and access controls intended to limit unauthorized access to private information. No online system can guarantee absolute security, and users are responsible for protecting their account credentials.

10. Data retention

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate IronShare, maintain transaction and security records, resolve disputes, meet financial or legal requirements, and protect users and the marketplace.

11. Your choices

You may update certain account information through IronShare. Additional account, privacy, correction, or deletion tools may be introduced as the private beta develops.

12. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as IronShare develops. The current version will be posted on this page with its latest revision date.
